Details: The Megger MIT30 high voltage insulation resistance tester measures insulation resistance in ungrounded high-voltage electrical systems. This digital meter has manual range selection for flexibility of use. The unit uses a continuously variable 0 to 30kV test voltage and a 0 to 33 microampere test current with an accuracy of + or – 1.5% of the scale, which allow for high-accuracy test result. The tester measures insulation resistance up to 33 mega ohms. The outer case of the tester Ingress Protection 67 (IP67)-rated to be dust tight and protected against immersion in water up to 1m deep. The MIT30 is used in electrical plant maintenance, the defense industry, electrical equipment manufacturing, and rubber safety glove testing. Specifications Insulation resistance range 0 to 33 mega ohms Test voltage 0 to 30kV Test voltage accuracy + or – 1.5%, 10V resolution Test current 0 to 33 microampere Test current accuracy + or – 1.5%, 100nA resolution Power supply 85-264V AC electrical outlet Weight 10kg / 22 lb. Mechanical standard met IP67, for complete protection from dust and immersion in water up to 1m deep Dimensions 360 x 304 x 194mm / 14 x 12 x 8 inches (H x W x D)H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back. Electrical test meters report electrical circuit properties, such as voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity. Available in handheld or benchtop form, they detect electrical problems in equipment, wiring, and power supplies. A variety of probes, clamps, and leads can be used to connect the meter to a circuit or device. Single-function meters, such as battery testers and voltage testers, measure one property of a circuit, and mustimeters measure multiple properties.
